Teri began riding at the age of 7 years and horses have been a big part of her life since
then. She started in hunter/jumpers and evented her horses Topcat (TC), Carousel Cowboy
(Casey), and Impresario (Rio) at the lower levels. She and Impresario are currently
competing in dressage at Prix St. Georges.
With over 20 demo
County
Saddlery jumping and dressage saddles of various tree/seat sizes
and other options, Teri has the
ability to allow riders to try saddles under no obligation to buy. She has ridden
personally in all of the models, so she knows first-hand what each one can do for
you!

She has a B.A. in
Business Administration and has worked in corporate America for over 20 years in marketing
and communications for such giants as IBM, Samsung Electronics, Prudential Insurance, and
Merck. Now in her second career, she is fortunate to be able to combine her business
knowledge with her passion for horses, as the exclusive sales agent for County Saddlery in
the state of New Jersey. She is also a master saddle-fitter, having taken and passed an
extensive course conducted by the Master Saddlers Association in Maryland.
For 3 years beginning
in 1990, Teri was the Organizer for Hilltop Horse Trials in Morristown, NJ, a USCTA
recognized event. During that time, she also served as the Fund-Raising Chairman for 3-Day
Event rider, Michael Godfrey, helping to raise enough money to send him to England to
train with Mark Phillips and ride for the USET at the Burghley CCI****. Teri also worked as an adjunct professor at Centenary College, coaching the
girls' event team in 2003.
In 2001-2002,
Prudential Insurance allowed her to setup a home office in Wellington, Florida for two
winters, in order that she take advantage of the fabulous opportunity to train with 5-time
Olympic rider, Robert Dover. She credits Robert, along with rider Jan Brons with bringing
Rio from a 2nd level to FEI horse. After those stints in Florida, she and Rio
have continued their progress with help from trainers, Felicitas von
Neumann-Cosel and Cathy Morelli. |
